Back to School 2020
It’s back to school time! Schools are all back this week, which means you will be back in the classroom or may have already started.
You can see your friends and get back to learning in the classroom, much easier than working at home.
Here are some pieces of advice for getting back to school.
Get a routine
It is very important to have a regular routine as it can help you in a number of ways. Get up at the same time every school day and go to bed at the same time. Have breakfast, brush teeth, get ready for school. However you do it, make sure it’s the same every day so you have a routine you can rely on. This means you will always be on time and never forget anything. It can also help with your sleep.
Stay on top of homework
This one is very important, try to get it done as soon as possible. If you do a little bit on Friday night and a bit on Saturday morning, you have the rest of the weekend to do whatever you want without worrying.
Get plenty of sleep
It can sometimes be tricky to get enough sleep so here are some things you can do. Stick to your routine, no screens an hour before bed, talk about your worries with your parents, relax, no naps, and exercise during the day.
Remember things aren’t the same yet
It can be exciting going back to school but it’s important to remember that things are still very different and won’t be back to normal for a while. Be prepared for this and don’t expect the playground to be full at break time. This might be a bit strange but remember this isn’t forever, and you can talk to your teacher or parents about your worries.
